Exciting News: 2025 India Night Supper Event!

Dear Community Members,
Last year, with your generous support, we raised $142,220 for the Regina Symphony Orchestra’s RSO In Schools program. This year, we are proud to support Creative Options Regina (COR): a for-impact, charitable organization that develops personalized support services for people experiencing disability.  Inclusion Regina programs, a division of COR, provide inclusive and enriching opportunities, covering essential topics such as financial literacy, technology skills, sexual health and wellness education, reading and writing, nutrition, arts, culture, family support, and much more.

We are thrilled to announce that the much-anticipated India Night event has been scheduled! Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 4, 2025. This premier gala, organized by Cultural Connections of Regina, promises to be an evening filled with vibrant cultural experiences, delicious cuisine, and heartwarming community spirit.

Tickets are on sale now!  Don’t miss your chance to be part of this incredible event. Single tickets are priced at $175 each, and a corporate table of 8 is available for $1,650. Corporate sponsorships are also available.  Secure your tickets early for priority seating, as last year we were sold out six weeks in advance.

We look forward to seeing you at India Night 2025 and making this event a grand success once again. Let’s come together to celebrate our rich cultural heritage and support a worthy cause.

About Creative Options Regina (COR)

Creative Options Regina (COR) is a for-impact, charitable organization developing personalized support services for people experiencing disability within the province of Saskatchewan (http://creativeoptionsregina.ca). COR currently operates within the City of Regina and has grown to become one of the largest service providers within the Disability Services Sector. COR specializes in serving our provinces most marginalized citizens; the organization supports a significant number of people whom the Ministry of Social Services has designated as having Complex/Challenging Support Needs. In 2019, COR welcomed Inclusion Regina (https://inclusionregina.ca/) to the COR family and offers a wide-range of community education and family support initiatives.

For many people with intellectual disabilities, there is a lack of opportunity to engage in community-based, inclusive literacy programming. There are significant barriers that contribute to this, including a lack of support, limited services and funding, and negative stereotypes about disability, to name a few. More than 25% of persons with disabilities report being avoided or excluded from literacy opportunities, and the reality is that the number is likely significantly higher. As a result, many people with disabilities find themselves lacking the critical information they need to make informed decisions involving their bodies, health, finances, and online experiences.

COR’s Literacy and Family Support Programs play a significant role in our community, ensuring that people with disabilities get the opportunities they want and need. By partnering with Cultural Connection Regina, we can ensure these programs grow and increase in reach throughout our community. and centers on the development of meaningful relationships within the community.

VISION

Empowering People, Inspiring Change!

COR is a champion of equality for people experiencing disability and a catalyst for change, influencing our global community in a culture of gentleness.

MISSION

Rooted in a culture of gentleness, COR develops innovative support that facilitates opportunities for personally meaningful growth and interdependent relationships where people feel safe and valued.
